Find your footing in Sevens

Use the controls beside the game rather than guessing the rules. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. The game area remains available above the explanation. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.

Four-player free Sevens with three local computer opponents. This table uses the seven-of-diamonds opening and low Aces.

One thing to notice as you play

The example and rules describe the same game you can play above. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

What counts as success

The example and rules describe the same game you can play above. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens.

A walkthrough of the rules

  1. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
  2. The holder of 7♦ must play it first. Other suits can open with their own seven.
  3. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.
  4. Play a legal card whenever possible. Passing is allowed only when no card fits.
  5. The first player with an empty hand wins the round.

Making selections and moves

Read the position before choosing your next action. Tap an enabled card from your hand. The suit rows show cards already played. Use Pass only when it is enabled. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

A useful example

The board gives you the information needed for the next action. After 7♥ is opened, 6♥ or 8♥ can be played. 5♥ must wait until 6♥ is on the table.

Keep this in mind

Use the controls beside the game rather than guessing the rules. A matching rank in another suit does not extend an existing row. Every suit has its own sequence. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.
